Description
Overview
Designed to deliver authoritative low-end impact in tight airspaces, the Elite Sounds ES1250 10″ is a high-output subwoofer engineered for high-performance motorcycle bagger builds, custom daily drivers, and space-conscious enclosures. Rated for a true 1,250 Watts RMS, the ES1250 combines a high-flux motor assembly, a heavy-duty voice coil, and a reinforced surround build to produce deep, responsive bass.
Available in both Dual 2-Ohm (D2) and Dual 4-Ohm (D4) configurations, the ES1250 provides flexible wiring options to optimize amplifier power matching down to 1-Ohm, 2-Ohm, or 4-Ohm final loads. Whether loaded into fiberglass saddlebags or compact vehicle enclosures, it delivers smooth extension and punchy low-frequency energy that cuts through road and wind noise.
Key Features
-
1,250 Watts RMS Power Handling: Built with a high-thermal-capacity motor structure to handle continuous power output without power compression.
-
Optimized for Compact Enclosures: Specifically tuned to perform in small net volume sealed or ported enclosures, making it an ideal choice for motorcycle bags and shallow trunk spaces.
-
Heavy-Duty High-Temp Voice Coil: Designed for effective heat dissipation and long-term mechanical stability during sustained high-SPL play.
-
Dual 2-Ohm & Dual 4-Ohm Configurations: Flexible voice coil options allow precise impedance matching for mono block or bridged multi-channel amplifiers.
-
Vibration-Resistant Push Terminals: Spring-loaded terminal connections keep high-gauge speaker wire locked down securely against heavy road vibration.

Wiring Guide & Impedance Options
-
Dual 2-Ohm (D2):
-
Wire in Parallel for a 1-Ohm final load (ideal for standard mono block amplifiers).
-
Wire in Series for a 4-Ohm final load (ideal for bridged multi-channel amplifiers).
-
-
Dual 4-Ohm (D4):
-
Wire in Parallel for a 2-Ohm final load (ideal for high-power 2-channel or mono block amplifiers rated at 2 ohms).
-
Wire in Series for an 8-Ohm final load.

Enclosure & Tuning Recommendation
Installation Note: To achieve optimal bass response and driver longevity:
For ported enclosures, target 0.85 to 1.10 Cu. Ft. per woofer tuned between 42 Hz and 46 Hz.
For sealed enclosures, target 0.50 to 0.75 Cu. Ft. per woofer for tight, controlled transients.
