Description
Overview
Engineered to move massive amounts of air while maintaining exceptional control and efficiency, the Elite Sounds ES1250 12″ is a high-output subwoofer built for extreme motorcycle bagger builds, custom fiberglass enclosures, and high-SPL daily driver setups. Rated for a true 1,250 Watts RMS, the ES1250 12″ pairs a high-flux motor assembly with a heavy-duty voice coil and high-excursion surround to produce deep, chest-thumping low-end extension.
Available in both Dual 2-Ohm (D2) and Dual 4-Ohm (D4) configurations, the ES1250 12″ provides maximum wiring versatility to match your amplifier’s optimal impedance load down to 1-Ohm, 2-Ohm, or 4-Ohm final setups. Whether loaded into ported saddlebags or custom vehicle boxes, it delivers heavy, low-frequency punch that cuts effortlessly through highway wind and road noise.
Key Features
-
1,250 Watts RMS Power Handling: High-thermal motor structure and voice coil design engineered to sustain continuous high-output playback without power compression.
-
Large Air Displacement: 12-inch cone area combined with high excursion capability delivers deep low-frequency extension and high output density.
-
Heavy-Duty High-Temp Voice Coil: Designed for effective heat dissipation and mechanical endurance during long, high-SPL listening sessions.
-
Dual 2-Ohm & Dual 4-Ohm Options: Selectable voice coil options ensure precise impedance matching for monoblock or bridged multi-channel amplifiers.
-
Vibration-Resistant Push Terminals: Heavy-duty spring push terminals keep high-gauge speaker wire securely locked down against intense road vibration.

Enclosure & Tuning Recommendation
Installation Note: To maximize output and protect the driver:
For ported enclosures, target 1.25 to 1.60 Cu. Ft. per woofer tuned between 40 Hz and 45 Hz for aggressive low-end output on the road.
For sealed enclosures, target 0.85 to 1.10 Cu. Ft. per woofer for tight, accurate bass response.
