Built for 1992–1996 Chevrolet Caprice & Impala owners who want to create a more capable rear stage, these vehicle-specific Rear Door Speaker Pods add dedicated Dual 6.5″ + 2″ locations without starting from a blank custom-fabrication project. The Two-way component layout gives you room to build a stronger, more detailed system when paired with properly selected speakers, amplification, and tuning. Speakers are not included.

Speaker fitment and clearance:

• 6.5-inch location: 7.2-inch overall diameter, 5.7-inch standard cutout and 2.75-inch depth.
• 2-inch location: 2.5-inch overall diameter, 1.75-inch standard cutout and 2-inch depth.

Compare every speaker’s actual overall diameter, cutout and mounting depth before purchase.

Included: Pair of vehicle-specific speaker pods and mounting hardware.

Fitment and interference checks: Check speaker basket, magnet, wiring, glass, handles, storage areas and trim clearance before final tightening.

Basic installation: Test fit speaker pod, remove the applicable rear door panel, locate pod onto the rear door panel, drill mounting holes, mark and cut speaker clearance behind the speaker pod, mount speaker pod using provided hardware, mount the speakers and route wiring. Trimming or cutting of factory trim may be required; verify all clearances first.
