Daily drivers to competition builds
Power handling runs from about 400 watts RMS for small-enclosure subs up to 5,000 watts RMS on flagship models like the Sky High FXXL series. Many subs come in dual 1, 2 or 4 ohm voice coil options, so you can wire them to get the most out of your amplifier.
Choosing the right sub
- Match the power. Pick a sub whose RMS rating fits what your amp delivers at your final impedance.
- Plan your wiring. D1, D2 and D4 coils give different final loads. Choose the one that lands where your amp is stable.
- Fit the enclosure. Check the recommended box volume before you buy, or pair your sub with one of our enclosures.
