The Brand X 200-400 amp high output alternator for 1997-2009 Ford Explorer Mountaineer Aviator 4.0L OHV SOHC is built to order for car audio, lighting and other high current electrical upgrades. Fits the 4.0L SOHC and OHV Ford Explorer, Mercury Mountaineer and Lincoln Aviator.

- SOHC engines do not use the rear mount; this is normal
- Large case units bolt directly onto OHV engines; on SOHC the coolant pipe behind the alternator needs a small bend
- 170-190 amps at 800+ rpm idle; rated hot at 200+ degrees F, not a cold rating
- Built to order: allow 2-3 weeks to build before it ships
- Every unit is tested before it ships
- Lifetime warranty at parts cost for repair or rebuild
