The DS18 G5.25XI is a pair of 5.25″ GEN-X coaxials with a steel basket and grille. They handle 45 watts RMS (135 max) at 4 ohms with 84 dB sensitivity, play from 50Hz to 20kHz, and need just 1.97″ of mounting depth.

The shallow depth makes them easy to fit in tight doors and decks. Have 6.5″ openings elsewhere? Pair them with the G6.5XI.

The power, clarity and range everyone who likes it LOUD loves about the GEN-X series returns in an extremely durable steel basket protected by a (PC-ABS) Grill for a speaker that will outlast any vehicle its installed in.

The G5.25Xi was made for amplifiers, but can be used in factory settings with 4-ohm factory amplifiers in most cases for great sound and clarity over factory OEM speakers.

The Mylar Balanced Dome Tweeters included in this coaxial help it achieve the highest range of frequencies possible, while the speaker itself reaches frequencies as low as 50Hz. The 2-way design on these speakers bring a full range of frequencies with great response without the need for a large power requirement.

These speakers get loud extremely easily with a MAX Power Handling of 135W and RMS Power Handling of 45W.
