When your Universal build calls for more from the universal, these vehicle-specific Speaker Pods provide dedicated positions for a Dual 6.5″ configuration. The layout gives you a clear starting point for a stronger, more detailed system with properly selected speakers, amplification, and tuning. Speakers are not included.

Speaker fitment and clearance:

• 6.5-inch location: 7.2-inch overall diameter, 5.7-inch standard cutout and 2.75-inch depth.

Compare every speaker’s actual overall diameter, cutout and mounting depth before purchase.

Included: Two speaker pods and pod mounting hardware.

Fitment and interference checks: Confirm the mounting surface is structurally suitable and verify clearance for wiring, nearby trim, moving parts and occupant space.

Basic installation: Test fit speaker pod, remove the applicable universal, locate pod onto the universal, drill mounting holes, mark and cut speaker clearance behind the speaker pod, mount speaker pod using provided hardware, mount the speakers and route wiring. Trimming or cutting of factory trim may be required; verify all clearances first.
