The DS18 G6.9XI is a pair of 6×9″ 3-way coaxials from DS18’s GEN-X line, built on a tough steel basket. They’re rated at 60 watts RMS (180 max) at 4 ohms with 86 dB sensitivity, play from 35Hz to 20kHz, and need just 2.95″ of mounting depth.

They run fine on factory power but really open up on an amp. It’s an easy budget upgrade for rear decks and factory 6×9 spots, and the OEMADAPT6X9 fits many vehicles. Want more power handling? Step up to the ZXI-694.

The power, clarity, and range everyone who likes it LOUD loves about the GEN-X series returns in a speaker equipped with an extremely durable steel basket to outlast any vehicle it’s installed in.

The G6.9Xi was made for amplifiers, but can be used in factory settings with 4-ohm factory amplifiers in most cases for great sound and clarity over factory OEM speakers.

The Mylar Balanced Dome Tweeters included in this coaxial help it achieve the highest range of frequencies possible, while the speaker itself reaches frequencies as low as 35Hz. The 3-way design on these speakers bring a full range of frequencies with great response without the need for a large power requirement.

These speakers get loud extremely easily with a MAX Power Handling of 180W and RMS Power Handling of 60W.
