The DS18 PRO-HY6.4B is a 6.5″ hybrid that mounts a compression driver on a water-resistant paper midrange. It handles 225 watts RMS (450 max) at 4 ohms with 96 dB sensitivity and plays from 100Hz to 20kHz.
One cutout gives you mids and highs, which is ideal on bikes and boats where space is tight. It needs 3.92″ of depth. Short on depth? Try the PRO-HY6.4MSL. Bigger opening? See the PRO-HY8.4B.
DS18’s Hybrid speakers give you the best of both worlds of mids and highs combined into one pro audio combination speaker.
This high powered pro audio mega speaker combines both a 6.5 high volume midrange speaker that also has a high wattage driver attached to the rear to give you a full range of frequencies at an amazingly loud volume.
These Hybrids have water resistant cones to help battle elements and are perfect for people looking to place a high wattage, high volume loudspeaker together without having to separately mount am additional driver.
