Why we stock the DS18 ZR112LD
The DS18 ZR112LD is a ported enclosure loaded with one ZR12.2D 12″ subwoofer, with 84 dB sensitivity.
It’s a ready-to-wire ZR package for deeper bass than a GEN-X box. Want two? See the ZR212LD. Just the driver? Get the ZR12.2D.
This is a prefabricated box that comes with one of our best selling subwoofers, the ZR12.2D. Included is a beautiful carpeted box with DS18 designs tuned to 29 HZ.
The box is constructed of thick 3/4 MDF for great sound and acoustical resonance. The subwoofer included is the very popular ZR12.2D that is a dual voice coil 2 ohm subwoofer wired in parallel for a final nominal impedance of 1 ohm that will require 800w RMS and 1600 W MAX.
This loaded box is a great solution to get hard hitting heavy bass for all to enjoy. To power this combo, we recommend a 1000w RMS amplifier like the ZR1000.1D to power this setup to its maximum potential.
